Ongoing or worsening nipple pain
Concerns about your baby's weight gain
Difficulty with latching or maintaining latch
Frequent feeds with signs of poor milk transfer
Significant distress during feeds (for baby or you)
Repeated blocked ducts or mastitis symptoms
A need for me to observe a full feed in real time
Not sure which option is right for you? Drop me a message and I'll help you decide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Because it’s so common to have 101 questions about breastfeeding and your session with a Lactation Consultant.
Here are some I hear most often.

-
It’s ideal to book your prenatal consult in the third trimester, around 32–36 weeks.
This gives you time to understand how breastfeeding works, prepare both mentally and practically, and explore colostrum harvesting if you wish.
-
The earlier the better — ideally in the first 1–2 weeks after giving birth, when your milk supply is still being established.
But it’s never too late to seek support. Whether you're weeks or months in, I can help you troubleshoot challenges and rebuild your confidence.
-
If possible, try to offer your baby a feed about two hours before our session, so they’re more likely to feed during the consult, and don’t worry if they’re hungry earlier. You can offer them a small feed if that’s what they need. Flexibility is totally okay.
I also invite mums to expose their breasts (as you’re comfortable), so I can observe how baby fits and feeds in real time. This helps me guide you more effectively.
-
That’s okay! The session isn’t about performance — it’s about learning.
We’ll focus on understanding how babies suck and swallow, how to support your baby’s feeding reflexes, and the small, subtle adjustments you can make to positioning to ease nipple pain and improve milk transfer—so you can keep experimenting and finding what works even after the session.
Plus, you’ll receive 1 week of follow-up text support to continue receiving guidance after I leave.

Yes, absolutely. In fact, I encourage it.
Breastfeeding works best when everyone is on the same page. Partners, caregivers, or grandparents are welcome to be part of the session if you’re comfortable.
-
Not at all. Whether you’re:
Exclusively breastfeeding
Combo feeding
Expressing and bottle-feeding
Weaning or preparing to return to work
I support you wherever you are in your journey. There is no one “right” way to feed a baby — only the way that feels right for you and your family.
-
Yes — and right now, sleep consults are only available to existing breastfeeding clients.
This is because feeding, sleep, and sensory needs are all connected. I find it most effective to support sleep within the context of what we've already explored together.
I offer integrated sleep education based on the Possums Sleep Program — a research-based, baby-friendly sleep approach that supports feeding without using rigid routines or sleep training.
When you book a consult, you’ll receive 50% off the online self-paced Possums Sleep Program.
If sleep is something you’d like to explore, we can absolutely talk about it during your session.
-
NDC (also known as the Possums Programs) is a holistic, evidence-based framework that recognises how your baby’s feeding, sleep, sensory development, and your wellbeing are all deeply connected.
I’m proud to be the only certified NDC practitioner in Singapore.
This approach helps:
Protect your baby’s brain, gut, immune system, and emotional health
Support your mental health as a parent
Replace confusion with clarity, and guilt with confidence

Yes. 100%.
Breastfeeding support is not just for the newborn stage. Whether you're weeks, months, or even years into feeding, if something’s not feeling right, I can help you get back on track, reconnect with your baby, and feel less alone in the process.
-
Yes, absolutely. If your previous support didn't give you the outcome you were hoping for, it's worth trying a different approach.
What I offer is grounded in the Gestalt method — a simple, effective style of support that works for almost every mother-baby pair. It looks at the whole picture: how you and your baby move together, how feeding fits into your day, and what feels sustainable for you both.
-
I use the Gestalt method, a gentle, hands-off approach that helps you position your baby at the breast in a way that feels comfortable and works for both of you.
Rather than rigid "holds" or techniques that don't always fit your body or your baby, the Gestalt method looks at how your baby naturally fits to your breast and makes small adjustments from there.
This approach has been particularly effective in:
Reducing nipple pain
Helping babies who are fussy or unsettled at the breast
Improving milk transfer
Supporting you to continue breastfeeding with more confidence and less stress
It's about finding what works for you and your baby, so feeding can feel easier and more connected.
