Baby Sleep Consult

A 60-minute session for families I’ve worked with, struggling with sleep and wanting gentle approaches that support breastfeeding — no sleep training needed.

  • You’re caring for your baby and wondering if their sleep (or lack of it) is actually normal.

Maybe you’re hearing one thing about sleep, another about feeding— and trying to follow both just feels confusing and hard to keep up with.

I’m here to help you navigate it all, with support that brings feeding and sleep together in a way that feels right for you and your baby.

  • If your baby is waking excessively (every hour or more, for most of the night / several nights a week) — or if you’re curious about a more holistic approach to breastfeeding and sleep.

    • Education based on the Possums Sleep Program, developed over 20 years by Dr Pamela Douglas, an Australian GP, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Breastfeeding Medicine Physician

    • Understanding your baby’s unique sleep biology

    • How babies’ sleep, sensory needs, and feeding are all connected

    • Simple, research-backed strategies to help with babies’ sleep — without rigid schedules or self-settling “training”

    • Space to experiment with what works for your baby

  • S$180/hour
+ Transport Fees of $15 (North/ Central) and $30 for other parts of Singapore.

Frequently Asked Questions

Because it’s so common to have 101 questions about breastfeeding and your session with a Lactation Consultant.

Here are some I hear most often.

& If you’ve any other questions I didn’t answer, drop me a WhatsApp in the link below!

  • It’s ideal to book your prenatal consult in the third trimester, around 32–36 weeks.

This gives you time to understand how breastfeeding works, prepare both mentally and practically, and explore colostrum harvesting if you wish.

  • The earlier the better — ideally in the first 1–2 weeks after giving birth, when your milk supply is still being established.

But it’s never too late to seek support. Whether you're weeks or months in, I can help you troubleshoot challenges and rebuild your confidence.

  • If possible, try to offer your baby a feed about two hours before our session, so they’re more likely to feed during the consult — and don’t worry if they’re hungry earlier. You can offer them a small feed if that’s what they need. Flexibility is totally okay.

I also invite mums to expose their breasts (as you’re comfortable), so I can observe how baby fits and feeds in real time. This helps me guide you more effectively.

  • That’s okay! The session isn’t about performance — it’s about learning.

We’ll focus on understanding how babies suck and swallow, how to support your baby’s feeding reflexes, and the small, subtle adjustments you can make to positioning to ease nipple pain and improve milk transfer—so you can keep experimenting and finding what works even after the session.

Plus, you’ll receive 1 week of follow-up text support to continue receiving guidance after I leave.

    • A 1:1 home visit where I observe a feed, offer gentle, hands-off guidance, and walk with you at your pace

    • Support with latch, positioning, pain, supply issues, or emotional overwhelm

    • 1 week of WhatsApp follow-up support to ask questions, troubleshoot, and reflect

  • Yes, absolutely. In fact, I encourage it.

Breastfeeding works best when everyone is on the same page. Partners, caregivers, or grandparents are welcome to be part of the session if you’re comfortable.

  • Not at all. Whether you’re:

    • Exclusively breastfeeding

    • Combo feeding

    • Expressing and bottle-feeding

    • Weaning or preparing to return to work

I support you wherever you are in your journey. There is no one “right” way to feed a baby — only the way that feels right for you and your family.

  • Yes — because feeding, sleep, and sensory needs are all connected.

I offer integrated sleep education based on the Possums Sleep Program — a research-based, baby-friendly sleep approach that supports feeding without using rigid routines or sleep training.

If sleep is something you’d like to explore, we can absolutely talk about it during your session.

  • NDC (also known as the Possums Programs) is a holistic, evidence-based framework that recognises how your baby’s feeding, sleep, sensory development, and your wellbeing are all deeply connected.
